We were shopping in Bellis Fair in Bellingham, Washington a couple of weeks ago.  iPanda ate a large breakfast so I only had a snack at Ivar’s Seafood Bar in the late afternoon.

They had a special called the wild Alaskan smoked salmon chowder~  It looked so good that I had to try it.  I love chowder!!!  Corn, seafood….etc…..any kind of chowder!

The cup was actually a pretty big size and it came with a package of saltine crackers.  This set costs $3.69.

Yum!!  It was super hot.  The chowder was thick and creamy.  It also had ample amounts of smoked salmon in it.  The entire chowder had a smoky taste to it (which I loved).

The smoke salmon were evenly cut into square pieces.  The smooth and creamy texture was very comforting.

The chowder also had potatoes and corn in it.  I absolutely LOVE seafood chowders and Ivar’s Seafood Bar never fails to provide pipping hot, thick and creamy chowders.  Hmm….
