So iPanda has been having shanghai food cravings lately.  Yes, iPanda gets a lot of food cravings…..So I stopped by Crystal Mall’s food court one day to visit Wang’s Shanghai Cuisine.

I ordered the xiao long bao for $3.75.  It came with 5 plump pieces.  The skin of the xiao long bao was thin and didn’t break when we picked them up with my chop sticks.  A friend once told me that you had to bite a small hole in the outer layer and then suck the juice out of the xiao long bao.  YUM~~~~

The soup in Wang’s xiao long bao is clear and not as flavourful as the XLB at Shanghai Wonderful.  But I also like this less salty version.  It was simple and less complicated in taste.

The xiao long bao was served with chinkiang vinegar.  It was very sour!!  But I LOVEEEED it!

Overall, Wang’s Shanghai Cuisine has pretty decent xiao long bao.  I like the soup inside and it’s a pretty good value~
