Flavor Eat Taiwanese Specialty (麗晶廣場牛肉福)
Posted by in $Cheap Eats | 5 Paws | Burnaby | TaiwaneseTaiwanese beef noodle is one of my favorite places to eat beefy noodles. It’s not only conveniently located in Crystal Mall’s food court, but it’s also reasonably priced and healthy.
I ordered a half beef and half tendons beefy soup noodle. You can order the soup base with no spicy, mild spicy, medium spicy or super spicy. I must warn you that medium spicy is already super spicy (for iPanda). They do have hot oil on the counter so you can order it mild spicy and add more hot oil if you don’t think it’s hot enough. After you place your order, you get a number for pick up. It usually takes around 3 to 5 minutes.
The reason I love the noodles here is because they put plenty of vegetables in the soup. The vegetables make this a healthier beef noodle than most other places. The soup base isn’t oily at all. The soup has a rich beef flavor to it. As well, they also added some preserved vegetables into the soup to add a bit more variety to the taste of beef.
Here is a picture of the beef! The beef slices were not super lean. You can tell that they chose the part where it is part meat and part tendon. Don’t misunderstand though because there weren’t any giant pieces of fat clinging to the beef. I loved this about Flavor Eat Taiwanese Specialty.
Good:
- convenience of a food court location (casual atmosphere)
- healthy beef noodle (with lots of vegetables, not very fat)
- reasonable prices for a bowl of noodle (about $6.75)
