Festival of Lights 2009

Posted by iPanda in Vancouver

It’s the holidays!!!  I love Christmas.  It’s cold and wet outside but it’s warm and cozy at home.  It’s this time of the year that I feel extra lucky to be surrounded by family and friends.  I hope that everyone can take the time to hang out with your family all year long!!!  So this year, ipanda finally made it to the Festival of Lights!!!!  I’ve wanted to go for many years.  It was very cold that night but the lights were extra beautiful!  :)  Panda was soooo happy that it didn’t rain. Here are some pictures of the lights!!!

But what does christmas lights have to do with a food blog!?!?  PLENTY!!!!  They had lots of yummy food there that you can eat while walking around looking at all the lights.  They had baked potatoes, fresh made waffles, smokies, hot chocolate and apple cider!!  Everything smelled so good.  Rockia was starving after a long day of playing with technology.  We had an apple turnover, chicken fingers and two waffles!!!!  It was too dark outside so I only managed to take a pictures of my strawberry and cream waffle.  Rockia had the hot dog waffle with onions.

The waffle was sooo good.  I could taste every wonderful bite of the sugar and cinnamon waffle.  They put in strawberry jam and not fresh strawberries; but it was still pretty good and sweet.  The only problem with the waffles were that the last couple of bites were a bit soggy.  BUT!!!!  They were freshly made and super delicious!!!!  I really wanted to try this when I read it on their website.  I’m so glad I did~

Happy holidays to all our wonderful readers!!!!  Have a rolly jolly Christmas with lots of love and laughter!!!!
