Ahhh. Sushi.  Who doesn’t love sushi?  Samurai Sushi has been around for a long time and I’m sure most people have either been there or heard about it.  This place is known for its enormous sushi rolls.  One roll can pretty much fill a person up.

Sadly, the quality of their sushi has really declined in the last half year.  I only visit this place now if I am really really hungry (because of the large rolls).  My choices are usually: 1/2 House Roll, Alaska Roll and 1/2 Salmon Sashimi.  I used to love their chopped scallop rolls but I’ve found that it is not as fresh anymore.

They have more than one store location.  I’ve tried it both at  Cambie, Vancouver and Richmond location.  I personally prefer the Richmond location better just because it is bigger and more comfortable to sit in.  However, Cambie is definitely closer to home and more frequently visited.  Be sure to call ahead and order take out if you have a large group.  The store is small and there is limited seating.  By the way, Samurai sushi is located right next to Yuen-Yuen cafe so go get yourself a drink to go with your sushi as well.  The combination of giant sushi and bbt is like a happy meal for me!  YUM!
