Dragon Ball Tea House (龍珠茶園)

After hearing lots of friends rave about Dragon Ball Tea House, we went to try it out. We ordered the supreme milk tea with pearls and the tofu dessert. I usually don’t order pearls but I heard it was good so I wanted to give it a try. The pearls were very soft and chewy. I wasn’t used to them being so soft but Rockia really liked it. So I guess it depends on whether you prefer softer pearls. On to the drinks!
The first photo is the tofu dessert drink (the picture on the left). I have had this before at Big Head bbt and they were pretty much the same. I don’t think you can go wrong with this drink because it is just blended up sweet tofu dessert.
The second drink was the supreme milk tea (the picture on the right). I always order either milk tea or green milk tea when I try out new bbt places. The reason is that I find it is the original drink that came from Taiwan and if they can’t make it taste good then other drinks probably aren’t that good either.
I think I was a bit let down by the “supreme” milk tea because I expected something special in it. Something that would make it different from other just milk teas. However, I found that it was a normal milk tea. It was good, but nothing very supreme about it. I found it interesting that they put a warning label on the cup though. CAUTION: Choking Hazard!!
Overall, I think this place is good. I would definitely go if I’m in the neighborhood. However, I think lots of bbt places in Richmond are equally good or some are even better. I will review more places later~ Stay tuned!
