Cattle Cafe! iPanda and Rockia went over to Richmond today for some late night eats~ We were trying to escape the heat at home so we went out to eat. However, when we arrived we noticed that they didn’t really have any AC. (HOT!!) When we sat down we wanted to order the eel sandwich and fries combo. The combo comes with a drink and you can make it cold for 1 dollar more. The other option is to order bbt with the meal and add 2 dollars more. Rockia ended up ordering the watermelon slush in hopes of some relief from the hot hot weather outside. 5 mins after we ordered, the waiter came back and told us that we have to change our order because there were no toast left. We asked if we could change to another kind of bread but the kitchen staff told us no. For some reason the waiter looked kind of out of it that night….maybe it was the heat??? Awww….So no eel for us tonight. We ended up ordering the satay pork bun with fries instead. They do have this because it is made on a French bun rather than on toast. Hmm….@@” I wasn’t hungry so the panda had her favorite cold milk tea. Nothing much to say about the milk tea. It was good and similar to the ones from other cafe places. As for the satay pork bun, it was surprisingly good! I would definitely recommend that cooked onions be put inside though. It will add a bit of a crunch to it and make it more satisfying. As for the watermelon slush, it was pretty sweet and came in a take-out container smaller than the take-out bbts you normally get from other bubble tea houses. Overall, the food is very good. The prices on the hand are slightly more expensive than other HK style cafes. I will definitely try the noodle in soup combo next time! They looked very good~ :@
